Jeff Kazmierczak, CEO of M.I.K.I.D., learned about YPTC from his past work and had positive experiences with the firm. He also reviewed YPTC’s website and felt it would be a good fit for M.I.K.I.D and had heard good things from other local organizations that had used YPTC’s services. When M.I.K.I.D. faced a mini-crisis and had an immediate need for a finance leader to stabilize the situation, YPTC’s Ben Hays, Manager, and David Villasenor, Associate, stepped in to help. Jeff explains, “YPTC did an assessment and suggested ways to improve integration, as well as communication to our Board. Their approach and recommendations improved integration and customer satisfaction. Additionally, YPTC helped us get through our audit amidst some challenging circumstances.”
He continues, “David went to work on the game plan and became a part of our team, establishing trust and developing relationships. He made progress almost immediately in moving from a mini crisis to a strategic plan. He has improved our processes and implemented software to make things run more efficiently.” Jeff appreciates YPTC’s level of talent, which was a very good match for M.I.K.I.D.’s needs. He highlights that “YPTC really understood our situation and was immediately responsive to it. Beyond finance, effort and energy were put into really understanding the mission and the organization.”
Jeff would recommend YPTC to other nonprofit organizations for many reasons. He praises YPTC’s professionalism, skill, and competence, noting that “they are friendly and warm to all the individuals they work with within our organization. They recognized our strengths, shared their expertise and talent to improve our organization. Our Board also has a high level of satisfaction with YPTC services. The level of impact and outcome achieved is of great value relative to the cost.”
