Fraint was Treasurer of The Philadelphia Foundation from 2003 through 2008.

A 1977 graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Certified Public Accountant, Fraint currently serves on the board of Kellman Brown Academy in Voorhees, N.J. He is a past Treasurer of Temple Beth Sholom in Cherry Hill, N.J. and has served on the boards of the Philadelphia Jewish Archives Center, Creative Access, and the Jewish Publication Society.

Fraint has been an Adjunct Professor in Drexel University’s Graduate Arts Administration Program where he taught financial management. He has lectured on financial topics for LaSalle’s Nonprofit Center, and developed and taught a course on financial best practices for nonprofit arts organizations through the Philadelphia Cultural Management Initiative, a Pew funded program.

For more than 90 years, The Philadelphia Foundation has been committed to improving the quality of life in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties. As a public charity community foundation, it manages nearly 800 charitable funds, maximizing the strategic impact of charitable contributions. It invests and administers these funds and awards the distributions – about $20 million a year to nearly 1,000 area organizations – as grants and scholarships.
