“They’re really supportive….”

After working in auditing at a Big Four accounting firm I was looking for a change. I went to work with a nonprofit in the Philadelphia area. When that organization merged with another nonprofit my role was phased out. I heard about YPTC and how they were regularly voted a Best Place to Work. I liked what they had to say and here I am! They’re really supportive. They ask staff for feedback and listen to us and take our suggestions seriously. They obviously can’t do everything that we ask for but they try to keep the employees happy. If they say they’ll do something they mean what they say. They support a work-life balance and how we value our families and our lives. Everyone here has a mentality of wanting to help. You can ask anybody anything and never feel like it’s a stupid question. They respect whatever we value. The clients are great to work with and, unlike the dreaded auditor, they really enjoy us working there. It’s great to be valued by them.
