Denver Metro BOMA is a nonprofit trade association that provides information, advocacy, educational programs, and networking to all members as the oldest and one of the largest commercial real estate associations in the Denver area.

Stephen Shepard, Executive VP/Chief Staff Officer of BOMA heard about YPTC through ASAE (American Society of Association Executives) when searching to outsource accounting. He says that YPTC professionally supports BOMA’s accounting and bookkeeping needs to ensure transparency for the board, providing oversight and ensuring that all financial reporting and processes are seamless.

Stephen feels that YPTC staff are knowledgeable, approachable, experienced, and budget-conscious, while truly feeling like members of the BOMA team. He highlights Michael Sitowitz, Associate, “[He] not only manages all the monthly tasks on our behalf, but he also works directly with the Treasurer when there are questions or concerns, maintaining that transparency line. Also, helping us through our AMS transition was essential to understand the invoicing capabilities and integration to QuickBooks of the system we chose.”

He adds the sentiment that his engagement “frees up BOMA staff to focus on more mission-based tasks” further reinforcing the value in working with YPTC.
