Your Part-Time Controller is proud to announce the hiring of Tanya B. Pal as Manager of our Houston office. In this role she will help support our expanding staff and will serve our growing number of clients in the nation’s fourth-largest city.

A long-time CPA, Tanya brings over 20 years of financial accounting, auditing and management experience to us. Tanya graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with BBA & MPA degrees after completing its nationally recognized Professional Program in Accounting.

Her wide variety of experiences as an auditor, consultant, controller, and CFO not only enables her to see the big picture and understand key issues necessary to the financial health of a company, but also to roll up her sleeves and get into the transactional and operational details.

In her personal time, Tanya has volunteered with and supported many nonprofits throughout the Houston/Sugar Land area.  Currently, Tanya focuses her volunteer efforts with the Fort Bend Junior Service League, Golden Beginnings Golden Retriever Rescue, and the Fort Bend Education Foundation.  She also serves as a board member of the University of Houston Friends of Women’s Studies and of the City of Sugar Land Animal Advisory Board.

To better serve her nonprofit commitments in the Fort Bend community, she has been a participant in several programs including “Leadership for Nonprofit Excellence,” hosted by the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce and underwritten by the George Foundation; “Sugar Land 101,” hosted by the City of Sugar Land; and most recently she enrolled in a five-month Nonprofit Finance Certification program hosted by the Center for Philanthropy & Nonprofit Leadership at Rice University, Glasscock School for Continuing Studies.

Tanya and her husband, Rick, live in Sugar Land, Texas with their two teenage daughters and two rescue dogs.
