Training Policies

In accordance with the Statement on Standards for Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Programs, jointly issued by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA), Your Part-Time Controller, LLC (YPTC) adheres to the following policies which govern the management and organization of program content prepared and delivered by YPTC to internal and external parties for CPE.

Refund Policies

  1. External CPE program events – registered participants may obtain a refund at any time prior to the start of a CPE webinar or group live event. To obtain a refund, registrants may contact Your Part-Time Controller, LLC (YPTC) at 267-855-1371 or by emailing our Training Department at cpe@yptc.com.
    1. Registrants of external CPE program events may transfer registration up to 24 hours before the start of a CPE webinar or group live event by calling YPTC at 267-855-1371 or emailing our Training Department at cpe@yptc.com.
  2. Internal CPE program events - YPTC does not charge a fee to attend CPE events offered internally to employees. Thus, YPTC does not have a refund policy for CPE programs offered internally.

Program Cancellation Policy

  1. In the rare event that YPTC needs to cancel a webinar or live event due to circumstances beyond our control, all registrants will be notified via email and provided with alternative dates the program will be offered. Registered participants can either attend the rescheduled event or receive a full refund of any program fees that have already been paid.
  2. In the event of a program cancellation, YPTC will refund any program fees collected within 48 hours of the cancellation.

Complaint Resolution Policy

  1. YPTC welcomes feedback from all participants and encourages the prompt resolution of complaints in a professional, timely and equitable manner.
  2. Complaints may be directed via email to YPTC’s Training Coordinator at cpe@yptc.com.
  3. In a complaint, individuals have the option to provide contact information in the form of a phone number or email address.
  4. The Training Coordinator will review all complaints with the Director of Training and the applicable course instructor(s). YPTC will provide corrective action within 7 business days including resolution communication with the course participant. Any resolution communication(s) will be made to the contact information provided by the complainant.
  5. In addition, Your Part-Time Controller, LLC is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: https://www.nasbaregistry.org/cpas/complaints

Your Part-Time Controller, LLC is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional
education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.NASBARegistry.org.
