PHILADELPHIA, PA (September 16, 2021) – Your Part-Time Controller, LLC (YPTC) has once again been voted a Best Firm to Work For by Accounting Today, and this time, the company has placed second in the ‘Large Employer’ category. While the list of Best Firms was published on Accounting Today’s website in late July, official rankings were announced at the publication’s virtual awards ceremony on September 8th.

I am so proud of our continued growth, the strength of our culture, and the system of support we’ve constructed. Despite the ever-evolving landscape of the past year, 2021 has highlighted the endurance and positivity ingrained in YPTC’s culture, with the company receiving additional “best workplace” accolades from Inc. magazine, and the Philadelphia, Washington, Houston, Phoenix, and Rochester Business Journals.
After making the list in 2019 and missing the mark in 2020, YPTC leadership took feedback from staff and implemented new programs and changes. These include new perks and incentives, an ongoing equity program, increased employer benefit contributions, and an initiative to update all technology to aid staff working from home.

Accounting Today worked with Best Companies Group to craft an employee survey that fit the unique workplace circumstances presented by the pandemic. The survey’s questions subsequently emphasized the timeliness and effectiveness of COVID-driven transitions, continued effort to connect in a remote environment and the level of care for employees’ well-being.
