Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore is committed to building girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place. The council serves more than 7,200 girls from Monmouth and Ocean Counties with the resources to become tomorrow’s leaders. A dedicated and passionate team of more than 35 full-time staff, more than 20 board members, 3,800 adult members and countless volunteers believe in the power of G.I.R.L. to discover the world, connect with others in a multicultural and all-inclusive community, and take action to make a difference in their communities and the world.

“YPTC is doing a great job from my perspective,” says Heather Coburn, Chief Executive Officer. “We have a unique situation, with a part-time CFO and only one person in accounting but accounting isn’t their background. We’re really grateful for the services YPTC and Associate Tom Cesareo have provided over the last couple of years. They’re always available and really responsive – usually within minutes. Tom is always open to feedback from our Board about the monthly statements and things that they would like to see. I’m not sure that we would have survived the last few years without him.”

Coburn extols the service that the YPTC has brought to the Girl Scouts, particularly during the transitions and adaptations necessitated by the Covid pandemic. “They’ve always been fantastic and check in regularly to make sure our needs are being met. It’s really reliable and excellent service and they’ve made things easier for our staff. They’re a valuable part of our team.”
