Hover Senior Living Community
"An indispensable partner"

Hover Senior Living Community, located in Longmont, Colorado, has been dedicated to changing the way eldercare is provided for over 40 years. As a nonprofit Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), their mission is to empower seniors to live the life they choose by offering innovative, affordable, and dignified choices in housing and services.
Craig Joseph Luzinski, CEO of Hover Senior Living Community, shares his experience with YPTC: “YPTC was referred to us by Brock and Company CPAs during our audit engagement. They identified opportunities to enhance our financial processes and recommended YPTC for their diverse experience and valuable assistance. YPTC provided critical support during our organization’s transition, conducting a thorough assessment to identify and prioritize key areas for improvement. After our CFO’s resignation, YPTC maintained continuity of essential financial functions, allowing smooth operations until a new Director of Finance was hired. They also assisted with recruitment, interviews, and onboarding to ensure a seamless leadership transition and sustained improvements. Additionally, YPTC’s consultants completed reconciliations, prepared for our audit, and strengthened internal controls, making them an indispensable partner in our financial management.”
He continues, “What I most appreciate is how YPTC entered the engagement and supported our staff during a period of significant transition. Their approach was highly collaborative, working closely with Hover staff to achieve our stated goals. YPTC’s consultants truly became part of our team, partnering with us to advance the organization’s mission. The YPTC team’s expertise significantly enhanced Hover’s financial operations through improved processes and multi-system proficiency. A structured, collaborative approach ensured alignment, addressed challenges, and celebrated successes. Leveraging specialized solutions, YPTC improved internal controls and streamlined processes, ensuring audit readiness and organizational success.”
Craig also highlights the impact of specific YPTC staff members: “Jennifer Dombek assisted with initial assessment and action plan development, keeping us on track with identified tasks and providing confidence that the project would produce positive results. Kara Petillo-Bennett joined the Hover team during a time without formal Finance leadership, bringing a calm and steady presence to a challenging environment. Susan Sprinkle undertook the monumental task of reconciling a few years of financial records, restoring confidence in the information reported to Hover leadership and the board, and fostering a positive relationship with the external audit firm.”
“Hover is blessed to have partnered with YPTC. Their dedication and expertise have been instrumental in our success,” he concludes.
