Founder & CEO Whitney Brimfield was familiar with Your Part-Time Controller because some of her friends in nonprofit organizational management were using YPTC’s services. She was looking for a new firm to help with Spark Point’s bookkeeping that would pay attention to details. “My friends all said that YPTC was the most meticulous of any bookkeeping and financial management team, which is what I needed to hear,” she recalls.
“They’ve already had a big impact. They uncovered a lot of inconsistencies in how things had been done in the past, which would have caused us a lot of problems. They’ve saved me a lot of money.
“They’ve streamlined our invoicing processes and helped with our budgeting. These are things I never had help with before. And the fact that they really understand our client base gives them a deeper perspective on how money flows in our company. They seem really committed to the success of our company in a way that our other bookkeepers weren’t,” she adds.
