St. Pius X High School
"YPTC has stepped in to provide support with an immediate positive impact"

Prayer, study, community, and preaching are the four pillars of Dominican education at St. Pius X High School (SPX). Inspired by Veritas, a Latin word meaning ‘truth’, young men and women at SPX embrace academic excellence and integrity, celebrate the community’s diverse gifts and heritage, and embody social justice and service.
Aimee Donnel, Director of Finance, learned about YPTC at a resource group where business officers from independent schools get together to share knowledge and experiences. New to her position, Aimee needed some support from a controller-level position that was not filled internally due to staffing changes. After meeting initially with YPTC, Aimee realized they could support SPX in several ways and decided to move forward with the engagement.
YPTC first assessed their finance operation and helped Aimee to confirm and identify areas that were functioning inefficiently. “Then YPTC was able to help us implement new processes and policies, further identify accounting areas that needed more attention, and engage our business office staff in the process of working through these changes,” Aimee says.
“I am thankful for YPTC, and I appreciate that they operate as a partner and resource to me,” Aimee notes, “I was not in a position to add employee resources and YPTC has stepped in to provide support with an immediate positive impact.” She continues, “Everyone we’ve worked with from YPTC has been knowledgeable, kind, and respectful. We were assigned a team with expertise specific to our needs, which helped move our goals forward quickly.”
Aimee calls out YPTC Associate Craig Felderhoff, who has been a great resource and partner to SPX, saying, “He works hard and efficiently, often highlighting areas that need further review and talking through items that I am struggling with.” She closes, “I would highly recommend YPTC because they have been able to work seamlessly with our organization and quickly make an impact on our operations.”
