The Women’s Foundation of Colorado (WFCO) is the only statewide community-funded foundation protecting the progress and advancing gender, racial, and economic equity for all Colorado women. WFCO leverages community investments and tools to dismantle systemic barriers, close equity gaps, and build a more prosperous state for women and their families. Jennifer Kilpatrick, CFO of WFCO, first heard about YPTC through HERS, another nonprofit client of YPTC, “As someone who has worked as a fractional CFO myself, I was impressed by YPTC’s specialized skill set — particularly the combination of nonprofit expertise and deep knowledge of systems like Blackbaud Financial Edge, which sets them apart from other fractional firms.”

YPTC has made process improvements at WFCO including documenting & streamlining month-end procedures, providing interim support during staffing transitions, training for internal staff, enhanced audit readiness and month-end close recovery.
