Is there any relief for 100% volunteer organizations?

Unfortunately, most of the pandemic relief is tied to retaining employees so volunteer orgs don’t qualify for the loans or ERC.

We are a very small non-profit with no employees, all volunteers. Would we be eligible for any of these grants or loans?

No- See previous question.

We are a startup nonprofit that launched in June, just after our previous company closed for good. What relief opportunities are available to nonprofits like ours?

It doesn’t look like you’ll be eligible for PPP but you may qualify for the ERC.

We are a small 501c3 Foundation seeking a grant as our main grass roots supporters have been unable to support us as they once did. Our operational expenses and project’s expenses are approximately $70,000 annually.  How do you advise us to seek assistance through a grant? We have survived for 20 years and filed every year with the IRS.

We’re not sure whether this was a PPP question or a question asking about other assistance.  Many states and foundations have made special funding available for support during the pandemic.  One resource we found particularly helpful in looking up these sources is: https://www.commfoundations.com/blog/2020/3/11/community-foundations-nationwide-launch-efforts-to-help-communities-affected-by-the-coronavirus

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit run solely by volunteers, no paid employees.  Because of no paid employees we repeatedly get turned away for numerous PPP forgiveness loans and grants we’ve applied for.  Are there any other resources available?

I received an EIDL loan in June but didn’t check the box for emergency funds which I now know was the requirement for grant consideration. Do I need to reapply for this consideration or will that mess up the previous application consideration?

Unfortunately, there are no funds remaining for the EIDL grant advance program.  Additional funds have been made available to distribute to borrowers in low-income communities who had previously requested the advance but for which no funds were available at the time.

I have not applied for PPP Round 1 funding yet. I will be doing the PPP Round 2 First Draw shortly. Can I still get the EIDL Advance?

Food truck business relief grants?

We specialize in nonprofits so our knowledge is restricted to this industry.  You might try checking the websites of your state and local municipalities.  Many have set-up additional funding through COVID-relief programs.

If you are not a 501 c(3) – what can you qualify for?

You may qualify for an Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) – 501(c ), (d), and (e ) types qualify.  Also, you may be eligible for the Employee Retention Credit.
