Kathleen has successfully led Human Resources teams in high-growth companies, focusing on building strong, mission-driven cultures. Her background in accounting and experience in the professional services and the nonprofit sectors have equipped her with a unique perspective and skill set that she brings to YPTC.
As Kathleen steps into her role as CPO, she aims to help position YPTC for future growth by attracting and retaining top talent to serve nonprofit clients. Kathleen is looking forward to bringing together the Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and Training teams under one “roof,” serving YPTC’s staff as one high-performing, integrated, and engaged team.

Kathleen Larkin is a human resources executive with expertise in leading the HR strategy for businesses experiencing high growth and transformation. This includes serving in Chief Human Resources Officer and consulting roles within nonprofit, for profit and professional services organizations including AnewHealth, CubeSmart, Korn Ferry, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC), and The Pew Charitable Trusts.
With her background in consulting, business acumen, and over 20 years of HR leadership, Kathleen has developed innovative programs to attract, retain, reward, develop, and engage talent. Kathleen’s efforts have been externally recognized as “Most Engaged Workplace” by Achievers and “HR Department of the Year” by the Delaware Valley HR Department of the Year organization.
Kathleen holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Human Resources from the University of Notre Dame and an undergraduate degree in Accounting and Management from LaSalle University. In addition, Kathleen has earned her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (currently inactive).
An active member of the community, Kathleen serves on the board of the Catholic Foundation of Greater Philadelphia, the Human Resources and Audit Committees of the Board for the Girl Scouts of Central and Southern New Jersey, the Mentoring Program Committee of the Philadelphia Society of People and Strategy (PSPS), and the HR Department of the Year Selection Committee. Kathleen is a member of the Forum of Executive Women and Cooper Rowing Club.
Kathleen lives in New Jersey with her family and enjoys spending time with family and friends, competitive rowing, and gardening.
