YPTC Announces the Retirement of Philadelphia Director Helen Fox
Your Part-Time Controller, LLC (YPTC) announces the retirement of Helen Fox, Director and Market Leader for YPTC Philadelphia, effective March 6, 2026. After 25 years of distinguished service, Helen leaves an enduring legacy of leadership, expertise, and unwavering commitment to YPTC and the broader nonprofit community.
After joining YPTC in 2001, Helen played a pivotal role in strengthening the firm’s presence in the Philadelphia region. A CPA and accomplished financial leader, she brought to YPTC extensive experience from public accounting, private industry, and CFO-level work. Throughout her tenure, she became widely recognized as a subject matter expert in nonprofit accounting, committed to educating executive directors, board members, and all nonprofit leaders on effective financial management and best practices.
Helen guided YPTC Philadelphia through years of growth while upholding the firm’s core values of trust, support, education, integrity, equity, community, and strong relationships. Her leadership contributed to numerous organizational milestones, including major regional successes and continued recognition of YPTC as a top workplace.
Reflecting on her tenure, she shared:
“When I started at YPTC 25 years ago, little did I know what an impact it would have on me personally and on my career. I’ve had opportunities to learn and grow, work with wonderful organizations, and most importantly, get to know and work with such a talented group of people. It’s been a wonderful journey and watching YPTC grow through the years has been amazing.”
YPTC is grateful for Helen’s extraordinary contributions and the standard of excellence she set for our staff, clients, and partners. As part of the planned leadership transition, Regional Director Carole Melvin has assumed the interim Philadelphia Director and Market Leader role following Helen’s retirement, ensuring continuity for clients and staff while the search for her successor is underway.
