"I can’t speak highly enough"
Four Freedoms Park Conservancy, Inc. (FFPC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2011, located in New York City. Today, the Conservancy programs Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms State Park on Roosevelt Island, on behalf of the people of New York, and in partnership with the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation. FDR Four Freedoms State Park, with its public initiatives and meaningful architecture in view of the United Nations, inspires each generation to define and defend President Roosevelt’s commitment to essential human freedoms.
Zoe Peerman, Development and Operations Manager explains that FFPC’s priorities have changed as they transition into operating as an arts commissioning organization, and how YPTC has been extremely helpful in this pivot by rearranging their financial coding system, budget reporting and more.
“Everyone we work with at YPTC is incredibly understanding—especially when we’re slower to respond—and they adjust their communication style to meet us where we are,” Zoe explains. “Despite our limited staff, we feel fully supported by the YPTC team. They’ve been patient, proactive with reminders, and thoughtful in suggesting ways to streamline our processes. I truly can’t speak highly enough.”
Zoe highlights the work of Associate Kate Urmeneta, “She has taken the time to understand our challenges as an organization and adjusted her approach to ensure we meet our goals—even if it means walking us through each step. She’s remarkably flexible and organized”. They also call out Staff Accountant, Pranita Ramcharitar who works most day-to-day with FFPC, “Pranita handles our monthly reconciliations with such diligence and consistently catches my mistakes—which I greatly appreciate.”
“We used to be the organization that needed multiple audit extensions every year, rushing and trying to figure out how to start again the next year, but that is no longer the case and YPTC has played a huge role in that. I would absolutely recommend YPTC to any other nonprofit client. Their staff are not only highly skilled, but also personable, which makes all the difference.”
