I have an Executive MBA and more than 15 years of experience in nonprofit accounting, including serving in CFO and VP of Finance roles. Overall, I bring about 35 years of accounting experience across a variety of industries. When I began searching for my next role, I was looking for a firm that values its staff, offers flexibility, and provides the opportunity to continue supporting nonprofit organizations.

I am a “boomerang” at Your Part-Time Controller, LLC (YPTC). I previously worked here for three years before joining one of my clients. After working directly within a nonprofit, I realized I preferred the YPTC model. I enjoy working with multiple organizations and being part of a team that brings a broad range of experience and perspective to each engagement.

My onboarding experience when I returned to YPTC was thorough and thoughtfully organized. It was especially valuable to connect with associates from across the country and learn more about how different teams approach their work.

What stands out most to me about working at YPTC is the flexibility and work-life balance. In addition to being an accountant, I am also an artist and enjoy traveling. YPTC gives me the ability to pursue those interests while continuing to do meaningful, high-quality work. I also appreciate the collaborative environment—there is a strong sense of community, and I regularly connect with colleagues to share ideas and problem-solve.

I’m happy to be back at YPTC. The flexibility, collaborative environment, and opportunity to support multiple nonprofits make it a rewarding place to work.
