Your Part-Time Controller boasts a supportive, staff-focused culture and flexibility that is unprecedented in the accounting industry. We asked NYC Associate Robert Lowenwirth to share his experience with YPTC’s promises in these areas:
How has YPTC’s 35-hour work week changed your life outside the office? What would you tell a burnt-out accountant looking to make a change?
YPTC provides the right environment to avoid the burn-out factor. In addition, to date, my clients have been great partners and understand the collaborative effort required to achieve success. Are there tough days/challenges? Sure, but they are nothing like corporate life.
How has YPTC’s flexibility, hybrid, and remote work options enhanced your work-life balance?
I can spread my work out over time and still deliver for my clients. This is also achieved by the collaborative nature of the relationships noted earlier. [The 35-hour standard work week] has provided so much flexibility, especially with my part-time work profile.
How has YPTC helped you reach your personal growth goals?
I would say the growth has been related to my enhanced skillsets and relationship building.
I cannot point to one specific YPTC associate, as all have been supportive and happy to help along the way.
Are staff members adequately recognized for their work and achievements at YPTC?
Recognition is a key component to employee morale, retention, etc.
The recognition is unbelievable! I found it a pleasant surprise that management seeks out what may seem like mundane things and turns them into value-add components to customer service.
YPTC is hiring. If you are an accounting professional and want to use your skills for good, check out our open positions.
